Can I search by last name only?
No. All searches require last name, a partial first name and a date of birth.

Does your system provide wild search capability
Yes. You can enter the beginning of a last name. If you are searching for a last name with "Roberts", you can put in "Rob". So if you don't know the correct spelling of a last name, type only as many letters as you're sure of.

If I submit a search with the name spelled incorrectly, then I re-submit the search with the correct spelling, will I be charged for two searches?
Yes, you will be charged for all searches submitted. As stated in our User Agreement, it is the user's responsibility to enter correct spellings for all searches.

When I try to log in, I get a message that says "Your account has been placed on hold . . ." What does that mean?
If a credit card is declined for payment or a payment is past due, our system automatically prevents users from completing searches. Users receiving this message should call contact customer support.

I want to register for your service, but I don't want to submit my credit card info over the Internet. What can I do?

Can I register for your service without a credit card?
Yes. You can open up a pre-paid account where you deposit funds to pay for usage in advance. The miminum deposit is a $100.
